Lodato Studios was established in 2021 by writer-director Samuel Lodato.

We’re an award-winning independent film production company based in London. We aim to straddle the sweet spot that exists between the arthouse and the commercial.

Whenever we approach a new project, we ask ourselves the following question:

Will this add to the language, culture or legacy of cinema – or is it basic bitch?

Suffice to say, we don’t waste time on the latter.

We’re a proud member of the Producer’s Alliance for Cinema and Television (PACT). Our projects are qualified for the British Independent Film Awards (BIFA) and adhere to the BFI’s Diversity Standards.
